Continuous manufacturing is an innovative approach to producing drugs continuously. It is based on integrated unit operations where materials are fed into the system and the final drug goes out continually without breaks. Increased efficiency, production flexibility, reduced waste, improved product quality, and enhanced control are advantages compared to the batch process.
